Fifteen fire crews were called in to tackle a large blaze in a storage facility at Loganholme, south of Brisbane, Queensland Fire and Emergency Services said.

Crews have been fighting the fire since about 5:30am local time.

Superintendent Geoff King said 163 storage units throughout the facility were affected by the blaze.

“There’s a significant amount of damage at this point in time,” he said.

“The storage building area at the rear of the premises, the two story building [and] all [of] the top floor has been severely impacted by fire.”
